Decision matrix

JJordan Park·

Walks through a decision with a comparison table, sharpest pro/con per option, blind-spot check, and a single recommendation. Bans empty hedging.

Help me think through a decision.

**The decision:** {{decision}}
**Options I'm considering:** {{options}}
**Criteria that matter:** {{criteria}}

Produce:

1. **Comparison table** — rows are options, columns are the criteria I gave. Each cell is a one-line judgment, not a score.
2. **Pros / cons** — for each option, the strongest pro and the strongest con. One bullet each.
3. **What I might be missing** — one option I haven't considered, or one criterion that's probably more important than I think.
4. **Recommendation** — name one option, in one sentence, with the single biggest reason. If it's genuinely too close to call, say so and what to test next.

No hedging. No "it depends" without saying what it depends on.
